The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) is a marine industry-led organization of environmental stewards preserving the marine environment by promoting sustainable marine industry best practices and educating seafarers, students and the public about the need and strategies for protecting global ocean, lake and river resources.

The Consortium for International Maritime Heritage is an organization dedicated to raising public awareness of our connection to the ocean by promoting the value proposition of the various maritime industry sectors through understanding our maritime heritage. Its goal is to develop new, and enhance existing, mechanisms to connect the public with its maritime roots.
The goal of the Maritime Global Technologies Innovation Center is to connect and catalyze New York Metropolitan regional startups, early stage companies, and innovators from within and outside the global maritime industry ecosystem. Shipping interests exist in an increasingly complex environment and are impacted by new problems every day, while entrepreneurs seek to remedy these problems. Participants in MGTIC will provide the expert resources necessary for the development and implementation of innovative yet practical, profitable, and environmentally sustainable solutions.
